The Monthly meeting...

The monthly teen meet was held on the 30th of June at the JBK church of God. Evg. Saju Mathew spoke on the occassion.Many teens attended and were blessed by the message and the worship session that was led by Danny and Jim (who are on vacation)

Starters..... My Potter God !!!

"You are the potter and I am the clay"
The Master Teacher used birds, fields and little children to teach lasting lessons. In fact we often use observations in nature and life as a basis for these daily encouragements.
God Himself directed the prophet Jeremiah to go down to the Potter's House for a teaching lesson.
The action of the Master Potter may be painful to us. We may even think we know better! But what spiritual peace and assurance comes when we willingly place our life in the caring Hands of the Master Potter and say, "You are the Potter, I am the clay. Mold me and make me, this is what I pray."
Four truths concerning the Master Potter:•
The Master Potter is in FULL control.•
The Master Potter is "hands on" (genuine pottery products are not mass-produced).•
The Master Potter takes time and changes His work a number of times in ways that can be mysterious to the observer as he works on the finished product.
The Master Potter has the ultimate good in mind for His work.
Let the Master potter mould you to be a great vessel for Him !

Todays starter......No to the Curse of Wealth

Dare to say ‘No’ to the Curse of Wealth too !

Many are the prophecies of these last days as being the times of God raising His Joseph generation, His Joshua generation, His David and Daniel generation. No doubt such men and women of God who prosper in the dimension of wealth in the physical world by spiritual means will surelly rise. But each of them will first be tested like those before them in the Bible.
Abraham had to say ‘No’ to the wealth offered by the King of Sodom before God’s revelation of great blessings upon him and his generations was revealed . He had taken an oath that he will not even take a thread or a shoe string. He only wanted wealth from God and not from the devil.
Joseph had to say ‘No’ many, many times to daily temptation but he ended up being the most powerful and wealthy men after Pharaoh . Besides suffering the rejection by his brothers, he endured humiliation in prison but remained faithful until the day of his exaltation by God.
Moses had to say ‘No’ to all the wealth and riches of Egypt but through the Lord’s power ended up inheriting all the wealth of Egypt for the people of God to build God’s house. He was completely emptied of all ambitions of wealth, fully contented with his humble lot before God deemed him ready to receive great power and might.
David had to say ‘No’ to getting power, wealth and might by his own hand twice but he inherited the entire nation of Israel and built it into a wealthy nation for God . By saying ‘No’ he endured many years of suffering, pain and rejection but he became the standard by which every other king of Israel and Judah was measured. He laid aside his wealth for the building of God’s house.
Daniel said ‘No’ to all the rich foods and privileges of the Babylonian palace but received the gift of wisdom which promoted him to become the most powerful man in the Babylonian empire after the king. Even he has ruled 7 yrs during the absence of the King.
Let the heaven speak to you as you are starting this week with full of choices !

TRUE STORY

She was young when she got baptized in water and then in the Holy Spirit. Her family was not so happy and when she came of age they compelled her to marry an unbeliever. Years have now gone by and they have three children(boys) all unbelievers. One of her brothers who opposed her the most is now a believer and gave me his sisters address. They are in Doha. She is called Valsa and her husband is Raju.(He works in Qatar steel)
She is not allowed to worship nor pray or even talk with believers. This family needs prayers. Will you pray for this family? If u agree to do so sign in and comment in agreement.(CLICK ON COMMENTS AND WRITE YOUR NAME) We have to pray for this family...Come on....

Unity...

God is love. Unity is a byproduct of love. The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are ONE. There is perfect unity embodied in Trinity. Jesus said" I and the Father are one"
There must be perfect unity in the church. Whenever the disciples prayed in one accord their prayer was answered from heaven. This is why the word of God teaches us that where two or three are gathered in His name--there He is present. There ought to be perfct unity in the family. " Flesh of my flesh and bone of my bones" denotes comprehensive unity to the core. IS THERE UNITY IN THE CHURCH AND THE FAMILY TODAY?

How can we build a team who listen with hearts, not just their heads in this corporate world !

The bible is full of great teams and great friends, people who were joined in organic friendships rather than organizational function. From the middle of nowhere one character arrives on the scene and dominates all of what is happening around him.
He is brilliant, inspirational, spiritual.
Israel saw David as theirs, in the identification of David as leader, it was important for the people of Israel to see that they were of the same " flesh and blood " as their new leader. He is rooted into these people and they into him. They can't get away from him and he can't get away from them.

The man surrounding David were men of considerable courage. They follow the inevitabilities of their love and respect for David and appear to be unafraid of the consequences. David's team emerge from the experience of living and surviving together with him in the cave at Adullam. These shared experience were one of the foundation stones of the powerful team which developed out of the adversity of those experiences.

How can we build a team who listen with hearts, not just their heads in this corporate world !
Let God help you to build a team of people with courage and passion for His glory !

Ya don' t dream of doing it alone.......... its not HIS principle

A kindler from one of my pals......

A man was sleeping one night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light, and God appeared. The Lord told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. The Lord explained that the man was to push against the rock with all his might. So, this the man did, day after day. For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all of his might. Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain. Since the man was showing discouragement, the Adversary (Satan) decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into his weary mind: "You have been pushing against that rock for a long time, and it hasn't moved." Thus, he gave the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure. These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man. Satan said, "Why kill yourself over this? Just put in your time, giving just the minimum effort; and that will be good enough." That's what the weary man planned to do, but decided to make it a matter of prayer and to take his troubled thoughts to the Lord. "Lord," he said, "I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?" The Lord responded compassionately, "My friend, when I asked you to serve Me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all of your strength, which you have done. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push. And now you come to Me with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinewy and brown; your hands are callused from constant pressure, your legs have become massive and hard. Through opposition you have grown much, and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. True, you haven't moved the rock. But your calling was to be obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in My wisdom. That you have done. Now I, my friend, will move the rock."
At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when actually what God wants is just simple obedience and faith in Him. By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God who moves the mountains.

When everything seems to go wrong ... just P.U.S.H.!
When the job gets you down ... just P.U.S.H.!
When people don't react the way you think they should..... just P.U.S.H.!
When your money is "gone" and the bills are due ...just P.U.S.H.!
When people just don't understand you ... just P.U.S.H.!

Why would you want to integrate God into your Professional life ?
It's simple. Success truly comes only when you work from your soul. William Blake, the English poet and artist says, "I myself do nothing. God accomplishes all through me." If you can begin to see your personal creativity as God's voice speaking through you, you will be a giant step closer to seeing your business explode.

Do you think the flower has any concept of what it's ultimate goal in life is? Does the flower stop growing just because it doesn‘t have the perfect amount of water or sunlight? Are you going to stop pursuing your purpose just because you are struggling in your business or your professional life? If you are not pursuing your true aspirations, you are NOT listening to God or your "ultimate purpose."
Stay Motivated and Committed to Your "Divine Purpose" in Business. If you can turn your business over to God‘s proven desire to see you succeed and can trust in a higher power to guide you along your path to business success, you will have hurdled the biggest obstacle that most new enterprenures face: the temptation to quit their business when confronted by difficulties, setbacks, lack of results (we have gone through this tempting situation several times in our lives ).
If you can simply believe in your "divine purpose" your business is no longer yours to quit, it is God's; you have been put in charge of your business not simply by and for your self, but to fulfill the will of God's plan for you and desire to see you succeed. If you can begin to feel God in your everyday business activities, hardships will never cause you to doubt your ultimate goal, setbacks will only strengthen you to resolve.
Translate your feelings of dissatisfaction in your job to a mind-set that God is telling you that there are bigger plans for you. Let us leave you with a quote from The Work of The Chariot: "When a Man Takes One Step Toward God. God Takes More Steps Toward That Man Than There Are Sands in the World's of Time." Take that step in your business strategy in this month and see how your life changes.

Relationship - is the lifestyle and the attitude in Christ

I believe that this blog will be a perfect place for young and older to share and build, to build a perfect generation for God. In Genesis God wanted man to subdue the earth (Gen 1:28 KJV). But it was the devil that subdued it and ended up with the EXODUS of God’s people. It is therefore GOD’s perfect plan for us to have the share in the tree of life and in the holy city (Rev 22:19 NIV). So let us come together and do our best to prepare our generation for that great share.
It is not the religion that builds generation for that share; it is our relationship – a lifestyle and attitude that we have in Christ. So let us build that lifestyle and attitude with help of this blog in coming days.

How can you change YOUR world for the better.
How do we do that when there seems to be so many overwhelming problems in our world today? You see the dying children in Africa, the devastation of hurricanes, tsunami’s, terrorism, senseless killing and general bad news being blasted from our T.V. screens.
That outlook on life is exactly what the devil wants us to have – that everything seems to be hopeless, horrible and meaningless. . The only thing stopping you from making a difference is getting up off the couch and getting involved!
In the Bible God says He has a plan and a purpose for our lives. Looking at all the problems of the world will only dishearten you, but we can make a difference right where we are. It may even seem small and insignificant. You may think the only big difference can be made is by having money. Not so, you have gifts, talents, interests and time that can all contribute to real change.
Maybe you need to challenge yourself.
Ask yourself these questions;
"What is it that I can do to change the world for better?"
"What do I individually have to offer that can be a movement for change?"
"What gifts and talents can I use to serve others?"
Once you’ve discovered what it is you’re interested in and the areas you have a heart for, you can narrow the field down and try to find opportunities that match. It’s amazing the way you can reach people by giving something for nothing.
Don’t ever limit the difference you can make in the lives of others. Let’s be a light for the lost, weary and broken. Let’s be a burning light in this dark world.
